Sangria and summer go hand-in-hand. And with so many great recipes out there, how do you decide which one to chose?

Let us make the decision a lot easier by offering up an absolutely delicious, In Food We Trust original recipe inspired by our new favorite wine–Refresh Turning Leaf!

This recipe features Refresh Turning Leaf Red Moscato, one of the three delicious new varieties coming soon to a wine shop near you! With notes of peach and fresh red fruits, this wine pairs perfectly with the other stone fruits like plums.

Refresh Plum-Pomegranate Sangria
1 bottle Refresh Red Moscato
6-7 oz. Brandy
8 Tbsp. Pomegranate molasses
Juice of 2 Valencia oranges
1-2 Valencia oranges, sliced then quartered
1 Lemon, sliced and halved
2-3 Plums or Pluots, sliced then cubed
Crushed ice

Combine Refresh Red Moscato, brandy and pomegranate molasses in decorative pitcher for serving. Using a wooden spoon, stir vigorously, making sure that the molasses is completely dissolved.

Add orange juice and reserved, sliced fruits. Chill for at least two hours, or overnight allowing the fruit to rest in the sangria. Serve chilled, over ice, with soaked fruit as garnish.
